Insurance Benefits

RPh on the Go is proud to offer industry leading benefits to all of our pharmacists.

Medical Plans
You and your dependents are eligible to enroll in the group medical plans with BlueCross BlueShield on the first of the month following your date of hire. We provide the following three medical plans.

* BlueSavings
* BlueStandard
* BluePlus

Dental Plans
In addition to Medical insurance, we provide you and your dependents the opportunity to elect from two dental plans with Delta Dental. You will be eligible to participate in the dental plan the first day of the month following your date of hire. You have the following dental plans to choose from:

* DeltaStandard
* DeltaPlus

Vision Plan
EyeMed Vision provides eligible participants with quality vision care and prescription eyewear through a vast network of doctors. You and your dependents are eligible to enroll the first of the month following your date of hire. The plan provides the following benefits:

* Eye Examination-$10
* Standard Eyeglass lenses-No charge
* Frames or contact lenses-Up to a $125 allowance, then 20% off the balance
* Laser vision correction-Available at a discount


Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance
Life insurance is supplied in an amount equal to 1.5 times annual earnings, not to exceed $300,000, at no cost to the employee. Employees may also purchase the following supplemental life insurance at addition costs. Eligibility for these plans is the first day of the month following your hire. All life insurance plans are provided by Hartford.

* Supplemental employee life-$25,000 increments, to a max of $200,000
* Supplemental spouse life-$12,500 increments, to a max of $100,000
* Supplemental child life-$10,000 per child
* Supplemental AD&D-$50,000 or $100,000 employee and/or family

Short and Long Term Disability
Short Term and Long Term Disability benefits plans are offered via Hartford, at no cost to you. Eligibility for these plans is the first of the month, following date of hire.

Short Term Disability:
* 60% of weekly earnings, to a maximum of $1,000 per week
* Benefits begin on 15th day after injury or illness
* Maximum amount of time benefits will be paid is 24 weeks.

Long Term Disability:
* 60% of weekly earnings to a maximum of $10,000 per month
* Benefits begin after you have been disabled for 180 days


Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts
The Health Care Spending Accounts and Dependent Care Spending Accounts are an excellent way to pay for eligible health and dependent care costs through a tax-free medium. Eligibility for these plans is the first of the month following your date of hire. To assist in the reimbursement process of your HFSA, you will receive a debit card, backed by MasterCard, which automatically draws from your spending account. The HSA is a healthcare investment savings account that can be used to pay for qualified medical expenses, as well as save for future qualified medical expenses on a tax-free basis. To be eligible to participate in an HSA, you must be enrolled in our BlueSavings medical plan, which is an IRS qualified high-deductible plan. Your deductible, including any out-of-pocket medical expenses, is reimbursed by the Health Savings Account.

The Employee Assistance Program offers the following confidential services free of charge through Cigna Behavioral Health:
