RPh on the Go, the nation's largest agency exclusively dedicated to pharmacy staffing, has been awarded the Gold Seal of Approval by The Joint Commission. The company is the first pharmacy-dedicated staffing agency to achieve this certification for health care staffing services, demonstrating leadership and innovation in the staffing industry.

Every day, RPh on the Go meets The Joint Commission’s rigorous national standards regarding how staffing firms determine staff qualifications and competency, place staff and then monitor staff performance.

The ongoing shortage of pharmacists has forced health care organizations to increasingly fill positions with temporary workers through contractual arrangements with staffing firms. The Joint Commission certification program was launched in October 2004 to address concerns about this shortage and staffing firm quality issues. The program offers independent, comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm's abilities to provide competent staffing services.
