Pharmacist Needed for LTC in Topeka - Topeka, KSJob Type:Full Time State:Kansas Category:Long Term Care Location:Topeka, KS Title: Pharmacist Needed for LTC in Topeka Description:LTC or similar experience. Client will evaluate a retail pharmacist for this position. RPH will verify orders, peform QA final check, answer telephone orders (rare) and verify IV's (very rare). There are 9 full time techs and dedicated order entry techs. Your RPh will work every 3rd weekend. On that weekend, your pharmacist will take the on-call phone. They contract with an outsourced firm for on call unless the need is for a C2 Drug. (Extremely Rare that your pharmacist would be called in). Vol = 450-500/day. 3 other Rph's on ea shift. Hours of operation are 8am-6:30pm. Your pharmacist will most likely work the 10-6:30 shift but may occasionally be asked to work 8-4:30. It is possible that the workload may have your pharmacist work past 6:30pm. This is a temp or temp to perm opportunity. They are also looking for a perm Staff and Perm PIC here.
