Description:Seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record in Pharmacy management. This is a highly visible role offering many opportunities to make a difference. Position will manage all medication purchase, storage, control, preparation, dispensing, and monitoring. Position will oversee medication safety processes within the organization; promote optimal pharmacy service levels; and ensure compliance with all legal, accreditation, regulatory and certification requirements, as well as all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of the organization. The Director will ensure safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies for patients, lead and direct quality initiatives, and direct the medication safety program of the organization. Additionally, this position will plan and direct budget targets, complete Quest for Excellence targets, and completes Gallup Impact Plans. Experience should include: Procurement, distribution, and control of all pharmaceuticals. Strong background in administrative management, performance management, developing standards, organizational planning, training, and financial planning and strategy. Candidates must be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree. Advanced education is desirable.
