Description:LTC or similar experience. Client will evaluate a retail pharmacist for this position. RPh will verify orders, perform QA final check, answers telephone orders (rare) and verify IV's (very rare). There are 9 full time techs and dedicated order entry techs. Your RPh will work every 3rd weekend. On that weekend, your pharmacist will take the on-call phone. They contract with an outsourced firm for on call unless the need is for a C2 Drug. (Extremely Rare that your pharmacist would be called in). Vol = 450-500/day. 3 other RPh’s on ea shift. Hours of operation are 8am-6:30pm. Your pharmacist will most likely work the 10-6:30 shift but may occasionally be asked to work 8-4:30. It is possible that the workload may have your pharmacist work past 6:30pm. Computer is QS1. Vacation = 3 weeks 1st & 2nd year. 4 weeks the 3rd & 4th years. 5 weeks the 5th year on. RPh will rotate on call every 3rd or 4th weekend (currently every 3rd).
