13+ Week Contract - Pharmacy Technician - Detroit, Michigan

Position: Pharmacy Technician

Assignment Duration: Immediate Start
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Overview:
We are in urgent need of a Pharmacy Technician to join our client s team as soon as possible. With a shortage of technicians, we require a reliable and experienced professional to start immediately and help manage the current workload.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and process patient information and prescription orders in the computer system.
• Assist in dispensing medications under the guidance of a pharmacist.
• Manage and replenish OTC (over-the-counter) inventory to ensure consistent pharmacy stock levels.
• Coordinate with third-party prescription plans to resolve issues and ensure smooth processing of prescriptions.

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Michigan.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.
