This is a contract-to-hire position with excellent growth potential.

Job Details:

• Shift: 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM 8:00 PM
• Location: Fairfield, OH
• Type: Contract to hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks to ensure:
• Accurate data entry and workflow
• Security of the pharmacy area
• Adherence to delivery schedules
• Oversee ordering and prepacking by pharmacy technicians.
• Screen all new medication orders for:
• Appropriate dosage
• Drug interactions
• Allergies and contraindications
• Assist in the proper handling of controlled substances, including:
• Ordering, receiving, documentation, and storage
• Maintaining a perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs

Requirements:

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist license
• Background in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
