Staff Pharmacist 13-Week Assignment in Pittsburgh, PA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Availability:

• Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
• Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
  Work Environment: Long-Term Care Facility

About the Role:

We re looking for a Staff Pharmacist to join a well-established long-term care facility in Pittsburgh for a 13-week assignment. In this role, you ll be responsible for reviewing medication orders, ensuring proper dispensing and compliance with regulations, and supporting the healthcare team in delivering optimal care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct final reviews of medication orders to confirm accuracy and safety.
• Verify all prescriptions meet state and federal guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active, valid pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.
• Recent experience working in a pharmacy, preferably in a long-term care or similar setting.
