Position Overview:
As an Overnight Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to residents in a Long Term Care facility. Working a 7 on/7 off schedule, you will be responsible for managing overnight pharmacy operations, verifying prescriptions, and providing critical support to the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety.
• Dispense medications in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
• Provide medication counseling and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor drug therapy and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Address any urgent pharmaceutical needs during the overnight shift.

Shift:

• 8:00pm - 7:00am
• 7 on 7 off

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy experience.
• LTC experience a plus.
• PA pharmacy license.
