Retail Pharmacy Technician (Bilingual - Spanish)

Location: Texas
Shifts: 1st shift
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary: We are seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician to join our team immediately. This position requires fluency in Spanish and a strong background in pharmacy operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting and be proficient with pharmacy software, specifically Rx30. You will play a key role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality pharmacy services while maintaining a smooth, efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medication Order Processing: Accurately process medication orders to ensure patients receive the correct medications.
• Clerical & Technical Support: Perform clerical and technical functions that contribute to the quality of pharmacy services.
• Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by addressing patient inquiries, handling concerns, and offering guidance.
• Inventory Management: Maintain and monitor inventory stock to ensure medications and supplies are readily available.
• Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and address any insurance-related issues to ensure seamless processing of claims and payments.

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Texas
• PTCB Certification required
• At least 2 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken)
• Experience with Rx30 pharmacy software is preferred
