RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dedicated Oncology Pharmacist for a direct hire position in Fife, WA. This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday through Friday, day shift. Job Responsibilities:

  • Mix, compound, and prepare oncology medications for cancer patients in compliance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards.
  • Ensure all drug storage and accountability comply with federal and state regulations.
  • Serve as a resource for clinic staff regarding pharmacy and medication information.
  • Support e-scripting needs of the clinic.
  • Oversee daily chemotherapy drug orders processed by pharmacy technicians and provide coverage as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State Pharmacy Laws for clinic and research pharmacy operations.
  • Monitor drug refrigeration to maintain appropriate storage temperatures.
  • Assess potential drug interactions, adverse reactions, and toxicities.
  • Report to the Director of Operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted Washington Pharmacist License.
  • Recent oncology pharmacy experience (within the last two years) preferably 3+ years of oncology experience.
  • 2+ years of sterile compounding experience with knowledge of USP <797>.
  • Ability to commit to the required schedule no flexibility on shift.
  • BCOP Certification (preferred) candidates working towards or willing to obtain BCOP will be considered.
  • Previous integrated care experience (preferred).
  • Willingness to collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other caregivers as part of an integrated healthcare team.
  • Participate in weekly team huddles (every Wednesday morning) to discuss integrated care plans.
