RPh on the Go is hiring an experienced Infusion/Clinical Pharmacist in Phoenix, Arizona!
Are you passionate about patient-centered care and skilled in infusion pharmacy? We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team, providing essential support for acute conditions and preparing sterile compounds.

Position: Infusion/Clinical Pharmacist
Assignment Length: 13 weeks, contract to hire
Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st shift with rotating "on call" weekends

Job Overview:
Join a specialized infusion pharmacy, working closely with healthcare providers to deliver pharmaceutical care for acute conditions. Responsibilities include preparing sterile compounds for IVs, hydration, TPNs, and antibiotics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care services, including dispensing medication, monitoring patient therapies, and offering consultation to medical and nursing staff.
• Oversee efficient dispensing, processing, and documentation of prescriptions.
• Monitor patient drug therapies and provide information to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Supervise pharmacy technical staff in executing technical functions.
• Review medication orders for correctness and address any incompatibilities or contraindications.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO, federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in an infusion pharmacy setting (required)
• Infusion Manager Reference (1)
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License in good standing
