RPh on the Go is now hiring a full-time Clinical Pharmacist for a reputable hospital for a 13-week travel contract just outside San Jose, California. This is a full-time contract position with the potential for permanent hire. Assignment Specifics:
Full-time
13+ weeks temp to perm
Shift: Variable Days/evenings - 4 days a week 10 hour shifts.

Job Duties:
Review and monitor patient s medication therapy and orders written by appropriate prescribers.
Advise healthcare professionals of any issues with patient s medication therapy and provide recommendations.
Prepare, label, and dispense medications for patients in accordance with physician s prescriptions.
Prepare sterile IV admixtures.
Provide drug information and educate caregivers, patients and students regarding their medication and their proper use and monitoring.

Pay: $65/hour - weekly pay.

Requirements:
Active Pharmacist license in the state of California
At least 1+ years experience in an Inpatient Pharmacy setting
1+ year experience IV compounding
