Clinical Pharmacist- San Carlos, Arizona

Job Title: Inpatient/Outpatient Pharmacist (13-Week Assignment)

Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours per shift

Essential Functions:

1. Direct and manage daily administrative operations to ensure high-quality service delivery consistent with professional and regulatory standards.
2. Develop operational and financial outcome measures and tracking systems, integrating efforts into organization-wide Quality Improvement systems.
3. Implement and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
4. Assess program effectiveness regularly, facilitating continuous process improvement.
5. Supervise staff through timely feedback and appropriate HR policies, fostering professional growth.
6. Plan and evaluate computer-based information and dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy.
7. Manage purchasing and inventory functions for cost-effective inventory management.
8. Facilitate staff professional growth by assessing learning needs and coordinating opportunities.
9. Prepare monthly progress reports, identifying areas for improvement and recommendations.
10. Participate in departmental orientation, on-the-job training, and quality assurance initiatives.
11. Engage in educational programs to maintain current skills and competencies, discussing training needs with the Supervisor.
12. Perform additional duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five Years of Professional Experience: Required, with at least two years in a management role.
• Bachelor s Degree in Pharmacy: PharmD preferred, including a one-year residency.
• Current and Valid State Pharmacy License: Required.
• BLS Certification: Must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
