Retail Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist Kennett Square, PA

We are currently seeking a licensed pharmacist for a 13-week contract-to-hire role in a specialty pharmacy setting located in Kennett Square, PA. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists who are passionate about patient care and want to be part of a collaborative and detail-focused team.

In this role, you ll oversee fulfillment operations, ensure prescriptions are processed accurately, and help maintain strict compliance with state and federal regulations. The position also involves patient counseling on medications, reviewing therapy regimens, and supporting clinical decision-making. Pharmacists will also assist in shipping and handling tasks as needed.

A strong work ethic and dependable attendance are absolutely essential in this position. The environment is structured, fast-paced, and focused on both operational accuracy and exceptional patient service.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 6:00am 2:30pm or 3:00pm 11:30pm (main need)

• Additional shift need: 8:00am 4:30pm

• Rotating weekend coverage: Must be available for either Saturday or Sunday shifts from the start

Requirements:

• Active PA Pharmacist License

• Recent retail pharmacy experience

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance

• Effective communication and patient counseling skills

• Compounding experience preferred but not required
