Closed Door LTC Staff Pharmacist Fresno, CA

We are currently hiring a Staff Pharmacist for a reputable closed door long-term care pharmacy in Fresno, CA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an ASAP start date and a strong chance of transitioning to a permanent role.

Position Overview:
This role focuses on delivering quality pharmaceutical care to long-term care patients in a non-retail environment. You'll be responsible for reviewing and verifying orders, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness

• Oversee the fulfillment process and supervise pharmacy technicians

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations

• Collaborate with the team to support high-volume LTC operations

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Schedule:

• Variable weekdays and afternoon shifts

• 8-hour shifts

• Must be available to start ASAP
  

Requirements:

• Active and clear California Pharmacist license

• Long-term care or closed-door pharmacy experience required

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
