Pharmacist Position Available Alexandria, LA
Facility Type: 200+ Bed Community Hospital
Contract: 13-Week Assignment
Start Date: ASAP

Shift Details:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each

• Schedule varies and rotates (options: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, or 12:30 PM 11:00 PM)

• Every other weekend required

Technology in Use: EPIC, Pyxis

What You'll Do:

• Verify medication orders for clinical accuracy and safety

• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations

• Collaborate directly with healthcare teams (physicians, nurses) to optimize patient care

• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing consultations and adjustments

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards
