Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Minneapolis, MN 55429

RPh on The Go is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract opportunity in Minneapolis, MN. This full-time role is focused on sterile compounding in a home infusion environment and is ideal for candidates with recent IV prep experience and a strong understanding of USP 797 standards.

Shift Schedule:
Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Pharmacy Environment:
Sterile Compounding / Home Infusion

Position Overview:
The technician will work alongside a pharmacist in a sterile cleanroom setting, preparing IV medications, maintaining proper inventory, and ensuring a safe and compliant workflow.

Responsibilities Include:
Compound sterile medications under pharmacist supervision in a cleanroom
Maintain and clean sterile prep areas according to USP 797
Assist in entering, labeling, and processing prescriptions
Track inventory and report low stock levels of compounding materials
Adhere to all pharmacy protocols, safety policies, and HIPAA regulations
Support packing, shipping, and administrative functions as needed

Requirements:
Active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license
Strong sterile compounding background required
Recent experience in IV or Home Infusion pharmacy settings
Familiarity with USP 797 regulations
