Contract Staff Pharmacist LTC Facility Columbia, MO

RPh on The Go is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist for an 8-week contract assignment in Columbia, MO. This position is a great fit for professionals with a background in Long Term Care who can jump in quickly to support a busy pharmacy team. The role may extend beyond 8 weeks depending on operational needs.

Contract Duration:
8 weeks with potential for extension

Work Hours:
Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

Practice Setting:
Closed-door Long Term Care Pharmacy

Role Description:
The pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing and verifying prescriptions, conducting cycle checks, and ensuring medication safety and regulatory compliance. You ll work as part of a small but efficient team serving the needs of LTC patients.

Responsibilities Include:
Review and verify prescription orders
Conduct medication cycle checks for accuracy
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and facility policies
Collaborate with technicians and support staff to ensure workflow efficiency
Ensure high standards of safety, privacy, and documentation are upheld
Perform other assigned pharmacy tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:
Active and valid Missouri Pharmacist License
At least 1 year of recent pharmacist experience
Long Term Care experience is preferred but not required

This is an urgent need with an ASAP start. Local candidates are preferred, but travel applicants will be considered.
