Contract to Hire Infusion/Clinical Pharmacist - Phoenix, AZ

RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled and dedicated Infusion/Clinical Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire position at a home infusion pharmacy in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves working with patients who have acute conditions, ensuring they receive the highest standard of pharmaceutical care.

Position Details:

• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for direct hire
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts within the hours of 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with rotating "on call" weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounds, including IVs, Hydration, TPNs, and Antibiotics, in accordance with USP 797 standards.
• Provide clinical consultation to patients, medical staff, and nursing teams.
• Dispense medication and monitor patients' drug therapies, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including workflow management and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Home Infusion Pharmacist license.
• 1-2 years of experience in an infusion pharmacy setting.
• Strong clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
• Hands-on IV compounding experience is required, with 2-3 years preferred.
• Experience with CareTend software is a plus.
