Job Description: Infusion Pharmacy Technician - RPh on the Go

RPh on the Go is actively seeking an Infusion Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate must have 2-3 years of hands-on IV experience, preferably in a hospital or infusion setting. This is a 13-week contract position with the potential for direct hire.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday, working 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:30 PM
• Possible rotating "on-call" weekends

Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will assist the pharmacist with filling and dispensing medications from the pharmacy to patients' homes or healthcare facilities. You will prepare sterile compounds and support clinical pharmacists by providing excellent customer service, scheduling medication refills, and coordinating deliveries. This role requires advanced knowledge in at least two pharmacy specialty areas and a strong understanding of infusion therapies for acute conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounds such as IVs, TPNs, and antibiotics
• Assist pharmacists in scheduling medication refills, tracking lab results, and adjudicating claims
• Provide superior customer service to patients and ensure timely delivery of medications
• Manage patient deliveries, inventory, and create individualized supply tickets based on prescribed therapy
• Assist with onboarding new patients by reviewing referrals and ensuring proper documentation
• Sterile compound, dispense, and package medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Ensure compliance with all licensure, state, federal, and company regulations
• Participate in performance improvement programs and attend in-service education programs
• Maintain professional conduct in all patient and provider interactions

Required Qualifications:

• Arizona Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
• PTCB Certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)
• Minimum 2-3 years of IV preparation experience
• 1-2 years of experience in an infusion pharmacy setting
• Strong communication and clinical skills
