Contract to Hire IV Pharmacy Technician - Phoenix, AZ

RPh on the Go is currently seeking an experienced IV Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position at an infusion pharmacy in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is critical to supporting patients with acute conditions by preparing sterile compounds in a specialized environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for direct hire
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounds, including IVs, Hydration, TPNs, and Antibiotics, in compliance with USP 797 standards.
• Work efficiently within the CareTend software system.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely preparation of medications.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in an infusion pharmacy setting is required. IV inpatient technicians with 2+ years of experience will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of USP 797 guidelines is essential.
• Sterile compounding certification is highly preferred.
• AZ pharmacy technician license
• PTCB Certification Required
