Contract to Hire Pharmacy Technician - Day Shift (Benefits Included)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team and help maintain the efficiency and accuracy of our pharmacy operations. This role combines technical responsibilities with customer service in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Work Schedule:

• Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Weekends off

Core Responsibilities:

• Inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and organizing medications and supplies.
• Process new prescriptions and refills accurately and efficiently.
• Operate and manage the machinery for creating customized medication packets.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, resolving issues and fulfilling patient requests promptly.
• Handle reporting and data entry tasks, such as logging packages, creating daily reports, and entering patient demographics.
• Occasionally assist with compounding, drawing syringes, and delivering packages to designated drop-off locations.
• Retrieve USPS packages from the PO Box as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician License.
• Proven pharmacy technician experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to support patient interactions and customer service needs.
