Contract & Travel Pharmacy Jobs
As a traveling pharmacist or pharmacy technician, your job is to temporarily fill a pharmacy role for a set amount of time determined by a prearranged contract.
Pharmacy contract assignments vary in length of time depending on the facility's needs, and many contracts get renewed. As a traveling pharmacy professional, you may work in many different settings, from retail to a hospital environment.

- Preparing and administering medications to patients.
- Helping the pharmacists on staff with medication fulfillment based on physician instructions.
- Properly labeling and packaging medications.
- Complying with any federal or state pharmacy regulations.
- Helping organize and maintain the inventory of supplies and medications

Travel Pharmacy Salary and Job Outlook
Since there are no real restrictions on where a traveling pharmacist or pharmacy technician can work, their salaries vary widely. One of the biggest determinants of salary is simply the city and region in which you are work. The cost of living is different across the country, therefore so are the salaries.
It is also important to note that for some travel assignments, travel expenses such as housing, flight and food will be paid for by the pharmacy staffing agency.
If you are looking to explore the country and meet new people, while still enjoying a great salary with benefits, then a travel pharmacy job with RPh on the Go is the perfect fit for you.
