Contracted Director of Pharmacy - Inpatient | Welch, WV

RPh on the Go is hiring a Director of Pharmacy for an acute care hospital in Welch, West Virginia. This is a full-time leadership opportunity that also involves clinical staffing responsibilities. We are seeking a licensed and experienced pharmacist who can take on the role of Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and help lead a small, dedicated team. Assignment Overview:

• Title: Director of Pharmacy (PIC)
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital
• Location: Welch, WV
• Schedule: Full-time; pharmacy operates 7 days a week, 8:00am 5:00pm
• Shared on-call responsibilities with full-time pharmacist

Hospital Details:

• Staffed Beds: 65
• Average Daily Census: 5-15
• Order Entry System: Medsphere CareVue
• No remote pharmacy services
• No automation systems in place
• No 340B program
• IV compounding required (for immediate use only) no chemotherapy

Requirements:

• Clear and active West Virginia Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience required
• Ability and willingness to staff as a pharmacist
• IV compounding experience (non-chemo)
• Experience as a PIC or DOP strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
