Contracted Inpatient Pharmacist - Merrillville, Indiana

RPh on the Go, a leading staffing agency for pharmacy professionals, is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your clinical expertise and passion for patient care in a hospital setting.

Position Overview

• Job Type: 13-week contracted assignment
• Schedule: Full-time with rotating shifts (days, evenings, and weekends as needed)
• Setting: Inpatient hospital pharmacy

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, review, and dispense medications in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide clinical guidance to healthcare teams.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and institutional pharmacy regulations.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other staff.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday: Variable shifts, including:
  • 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Possible overnight shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM if required)
• Weekends: Rotating every other weekend coverage.

Requirements

• Previous inpatient hospital experience.
• Strong clinical background.
• Active Indiana pharmacist license.
