Contracted Inpatient Pharmacy Technician Chicago, Illinois

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a 13-week contract assignment in a hospital setting located in Chicago, Illinois. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacy technician with inpatient experience to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a healthcare team committed to exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications to hospital patients
• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with hospital policies
• Compound sterile IV solutions and handle unit-dose packaging as required
• Manage inventory, stock medications, and ensure proper storage
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm, or 10:00am - 6:00pm)

Requirements:

• Inpatient hospital experience required
• Sterile compounding experience
• IL pharmacy technician license.
• PTCB certification.
