We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Oncology Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at RPh on the Go in the heart of Mishawaka, Indiana. As an integral part of our oncology department, you will play a crucial role in providing top-tier pharmaceutical care to patients battling cancer. Our facility is committed to excellence in healthcare and personalized patient treatment plans, and we are looking for a professional who shares our dedication to compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized pharmaceutical care services to oncology patients, including but not limited to medication therapy management, patient education, and supportive care management.
  • Collaborate with oncologists and the healthcare team to develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for patients.
  • Participate in the selection, dosing, and administration of medication based on current clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices.
  • Oversee the preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy and other oncology medications under strict safety protocols.
  • Monitor patient outcomes closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on medication-related issues, side effects management, and the importance of adherence to prescribed therapies.
  • Participate in clinical research and trials related to oncology medications and treatments.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in oncology pharmacotherapy and integrate new knowledge into patient care plans.

Shift:

  • 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications:

  • IN Pharmacist license.
  • Inpatient hospital or home infusion experience.
  • 3 years infusion/Chemotherapy experience
  • BLS required
  • EMR experience a plus
  • Sterile compounding experience.
