Contracted Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) Monterey Park, California (No Weekends)

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a 2-month contract at a reputable hospital in Monterey Park, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist with strong leadership skills and hospital experience to step into a vital role, ensuring the seamless operation of the pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians.
• Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and proper medication management within the hospital.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary medications and supplies.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure patient safety.
• Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Address and resolve any issues related to pharmacy operations or patient care promptly.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

• CA Pharmacist License
• Previous PIC or DOP experience
• 2+ year or more of recent inpatient experience
• Covid vaccine is required.
