We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join our team in Roswell, Georgia. This is a contract to hire position, offering a pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Job Description: The Clinical Sterile Compounding Pharmacist will be responsible for the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy practices and sterile compounding procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense sterile compounded medications in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with USP <797> and <800> guidelines, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to maintain the integrity of compounded medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all compounded medications and related activities.
  • Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

  • Valid GA Pharmacist License
  • Need at least two years of experience in infusion therapy in a hospital, home care, or ambulatory care environment.
  • Should have a strong understanding of IV mixing, infusion therapy, infectious diseases, laws, and standards.
  • Experience in supervising sterile preparation processes.
  • Prepare IV admixtures when required
