Day Shift IV Pharmacist Plymouth, Michigan (No Weekends)

RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled IV Supervising Pharmacist for a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity in Plymouth, Michigan. This is an excellent role for a pharmacist with strong sterile compounding experience looking to advance into a leadership position in an IV pharmacy setting.

Position Details:

• Location: Plymouth, MI
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 10:00 AM 6:30 PM
• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee the IV department workflow, ensuring efficient preparation of IV medications.
• Lead and train IV Pharmacy Technicians, conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Manage department scheduling, PTO requests, and staff performance.
• Ensure strict compliance with USP 797, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in the preparation, mixing, labeling, and packaging of IV medications, including TPN, antibiotics, and sterile compounds.
• Maintain sterile compounding records using Simplifi797 or similar software.
• Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of IV cleanrooms and sterile compounding areas.
• Ensure proper maintenance and certification of IV-related equipment and infusion pumps.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Pharmacist License.
• Experience in Inpatient Hospital or Home Infusion Pharmacy (sterile & non-sterile compounding, dosing).
• 5-10 years of leadership experience (junior-level leadership preferred).
• Hands-on home infusion & TPN experience within the past two years.
• Strong knowledge of USP 797, aseptic techniques, and IV therapy best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
