Day Shift Pharmacist Compounding Pharmacy - Fairfield, Ohio

Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join a Compounding Pharmacy team in Fairfield, Ohio. This is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule and no weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure proper data entry, workflow, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules. Oversee ordering and prepacking by the pharmacy technicians.
• Oversee ordering and prepacking by the pharmacy technicians.
• Screen all new medication orders for appropriate dose, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications prior to dispensing the medication.
• Assist in the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances; assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.

Requirements:

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist license.

• Background in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is a plus
