Pharmacist Manager Long-Term Care
Location: Camp Hill, PA
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (13+ Weeks)


We are looking for a Pharmacist Manager to join a respected long-term care pharmacy in Camp Hill, PA. This is a temp-to-hire position offering you the opportunity to work with a skilled team and transition into a permanent role after 13+ weeks. Position Overview:

  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
    Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM (on-call every other weekend)

  • Work Schedule: Four days per week with one scheduled day off

  • On-Call: Required for weekend facility coverage every other weekend


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the long-term care pharmacy, ensuring the highest standards of care

  • Manage and guide pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment

  • Ensure all pharmacy activities comply with state and federal regulations

  • Monitor medication inventory and ensure the accuracy of all dispensing processes

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper medication management for patients

  • Provide ongoing training and leadership to pharmacy technicians and other staff


Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License

  • Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) is highly preferred

  • QS/1 Primecare knowledge is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively

  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
