RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a day shift position in a retail/clinical pharmacy setting in Akron, Ohio. This contract-to-hire role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, assisting with medication dispensing, patient support, and essential pharmacy operations.

Job Details:

• Location: Akron, Ohio
• Setting: Retail/Clinical Pharmacy
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and process physician medication orders
• Prepare and package medications, including those requiring special handling
• Assist in medication dispensing, labeling, and re-packaging
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts, returns, and inventory control practices
• Provide excellent customer service and triage medication requests
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols to maintain quality patient care

Requirements:

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience
