RPh on the Go is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist for a day shift opportunity at a Specialty Pharmacy in New York, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist with experience in specialty pharmacy settings to make a significant impact on patient care. You ll be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal therapy management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and dispense prescriptions for specialty medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Provide medication counseling to patients, ensuring they understand their treatments and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care goals and optimize drug therapy outcomes.
• Assist with medication therapy management and patient support services.
• Monitor and maintain inventory for specialty medications.
• Comply with all state and federal regulations regarding the dispensing of medications.

Qualifications:

• NY State Pharmacist license
• Previous Retail, Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy Experience is required
• MUST have experience working with HIGH VOLUME 800+ rx per day
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time in one spot.

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday - Friday; every 7th Saturday
• Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am - 2:00pm

Compensation:

• $60/hour

• PTO: 120 hours accrued 15 days (5 days available immediately each year and 10 accrued)
• 40 hours carry over
• Paid holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4^th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day
