Contract to Hire IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician

  • Location: Tempe, AZ
  • Category: Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician

Start a great new job with RPh on the Go today! We are hiring a licensed and certified pharmacy technician to work full time in Tempe. This is a contract-to-hire position so we seek someone looking for a long-term career move, not just a job. This facility is a closed-door pharmacy so all work with patients will be by phone and through the computer. Your job will be to make outbound calls to patients, help to schedule deliveries, and work in the clean room to make IV products.

The schedule here is amazing. You'll work 40 hours per week covering Monday-Friday between 8:30am-5:30pm. After you've completed your training and are familiar with how things work, you will cover on-call after hours and on weekends but in rotation with others so this won't happen every week. Excellent pay is offered, full medical and insurance benefits, and weekly pay while in this assignment. For doing a great job here, you can be asked to become a permanent member of this amazing team!

Technicians must hold a current Arizona pharmacy technician license and need to be currently certified nationally through either PTCB or ExCPT. Please have prior experience mixing IV's in a hospital, long term care, or infusion pharmacy setting and know all about USP 797 and working with sterile IV products. We are looking for a positive personality who thrives on taking excellent care of patients for this role; you will be talking to patients on the phone so your personality and demeanor needs to be professional, kind, and helpful.
