Direct Hire Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician in Syracuse, NY

RPh on the Go has partnered with a Long-Term Care Pharmacy in Syracuse, NY, which has an immediate opening for Fulfillment Pharmacy Technicians. This is a direct hire opportunity with multiple shift options available!

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: 12:30 PM 9:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
• Retail pharmacy technicians from high-volume environments will be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive drug prescriptions over the phone and in-person
• Accurately fill and process daily medication orders under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with processing returned medications per procedures
• Prepack frequently ordered medications, label, and store as needed
• Pick, package, and label medications for dispensing
• Maintain workstation and replenish stock as needed
• Follow all HIPAA and government regulations

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required
• Minimum of 6 months pharmacy technician experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Flexibility to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs

Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
