Direct Hire Pharmacy Technician Syracuse NY

A growing long-term care pharmacy in Syracuse, NY, is seeking dedicated Production Pharmacy Technicians to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians with experience in long-term care or high-volume retail settings who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Shift Availability:

• 2nd Shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (eligible for up to $3.00/hour shift differential)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and fill medication orders under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with prescription intake via phone and in person
• Prepack and label frequently ordered medications
• Handle returned medications and dispose of them per regulations
• Pull, package, and scan medications for accuracy
• Maintain workstations and restock supplies
• Follow HIPAA and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy technician license preferred but not required
• Minimum of 6 months of pharmacy technician experience in retail or long-term care
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Proficiency in Frameworks and DocuTrack software preferred
