Direct Hire Pharmacy Technician Syracuse NY

A leading pharmacy in Syracuse, NY, is seeking Production Pharmacy Technicians to join its growing team. This role is ideal for pharmacy technicians with long-term care or high-volume retail experience who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Available Shifts

• 2nd Shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Eligible for up to $3.00/hour shift differential)

Key Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pull, package, and label medications for dispensing.
• Perform inventory checks and assist in medication returns.
• Scan products for accuracy and report discrepancies to the pharmacist.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations.
• Keep workstations organized and restock supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of pharmacy technician experience in a high-volume retail or long-term care setting.
• Pharmacy technician license preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Frameworks and DocuTrack software is a plus.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation

• $18 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
