Director of Pharmacy Full-Time, Onsite in California

RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Director of Pharmacy in California. This is a Full-time, Onsite, Direct Hire position. The Director of Pharmacy will oversee the pharmacy operations from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy standards without the need to take on PIC duties or staffing responsibilities.

Location: California
Setting: Direct Hire Hospital Pharmacy
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm
Pharmacy Hours: 7:00 am 10:00 pm, daily
On-Call: Not required
Staff: 5-6 pharmacists, 6-7 technicians, PRN staff available
Pharmacy Systems: Paragon / Allscripts for order entry, Pyxis for automation

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
Manage the pharmacy s policies and procedures (crosswalk), regulatory/compliance issues, Bluesight, MERP, ASP, P&T, Pharmacy Chargemaster
Ensure smooth pharmacy order entry operations with a focus on system and procedural efficiency
Work with the 340B team (340B experience required, but no chemotherapy is handled at this site)
No compounding required

Requirements:
Solid experience in Policy & Procedures (crosswalk), Regulatory/Compliance, Bluesight, MERP, ASP, P&T, Pharmacy Chargemaster
Active California Pharmacy License
Prior Director of Pharmacy (DOP) experience is required

Working Conditions:
Full-time, onsite role
Monday to Friday schedule with no on-call requirement
Pay rate: Competitive and commensurate with experience
