Director of Pharmacy Hospital

RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy (DOP) for a full-time, interim contract position at a hospital in Ridgecrest, California. This opportunity begins immediately and will run through the end of the year.

This is an excellent leadership role for a DOP with strong hospital experience and proven ability to manage compliance, regulatory processes, and pharmacy operations without needing to take on PIC or staffing duties.

Key Details:

• Facility Type: Hospital

• Pharmacy Hours: 7:00 AM 10:00 PM daily

• Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• On-Call: Not required

• Staff: 5 6 pharmacists, 6 7 technicians, plus PRN support

• Remote Order Entry: Handled via Pipeline after hours

• Systems Used:

• Order Entry: Paragon / Allscripts

• Automation: Pyxis

• 340B Program: Dedicated 340B team in place (experience required)

• No Chemo or Compounding Required

Required Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist License

• Prior Director of Pharmacy experience in a hospital setting

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:

• Policy & Procedures (Crosswalk)

• Regulatory and Compliance Oversight

• Bluesight, MERP, ASP

• Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T)

• Pharmacy Chargemaster Management
