We are actively seeking Pharmacist In Charge / Director of Pharmacy with recent Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy experience who is looking to make the next step in their career.

Job Title: Pharmacist in Charge / Director of Pharmacy
Start Date: September 15, 2024
Location: Acute Care Hospital

Hospital Details:

• Bed Capacity: 101
• Average Patient Census: 70
• Order Entry System: CPSI
• Dispensing Methods: Cart fill, night locker
• IV Compounding: Yes (no chemotherapy)
• Staff: 2 Pharmacists, 3 Technicians

Work Schedule:

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or Director of Pharmacy (DOP)
• At least 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• COVID vaccine required
• Standard drug screen within the last 3-6 months
• TB screen within the past year

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage pharmacy staff (hiring, training, performance evaluations)
• Oversee the pharmacy budget, financial performance, and cost-saving measures
• Ensure quality patient care and efficient pharmacy operations

Note: This role is focused on DOP responsibilities and does not include staffing duties.
