Director of Pharmacy (Interim Contract) - Louisiana

RPh on the Go is actively seeking an interim Director of Pharmacy / Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a Critical Access Hospital in Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced inpatient pharmacist looking for a leadership role in a small hospital setting.

Facility Details:

• Staffed Beds: 25
• Daily Census: 2-3 (Max 5)
• Staffing: 1 Pharmacist, 1 Technician
• Order Entry System: CPSI
• Automation System: Omnicell

Schedule:

• Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• On-call is required

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all pharmacy operations while also handling staffing duties
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Manage medication dispensing and verification
• Perform IV compounding (no chemotherapy)
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care

Requirements:

• 3+ years of PIC experience
• 5+ years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• IV compounding experience required (no chemo)
