Director Of Pharmacy Jacksonville

RPh on the go is seeking a Director of Pharmacy for an inpatient facility. Must be able to oversee, and mange the day-to-day operations for a local hospital. This is a full time position Monday - Friday 8-430, and on call on the weekend with remote verification. 

Duties:

• Maintaining relationships with various regulatory bodies including state boards of pharmacy and federal agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
• Ensuring that pharmacy staff members are properly trained in accordance with state regulations
• Providing consultation services to physicians regarding medications and treatment options for patients
• Establishing policies and procedures for the operation of the pharmacy department
• Overseeing the inventory of drugs, medical supplies, and other items in the pharmacy
• Managing staff members in the pharmacy department, including hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplining
• Providing counseling services to patients regarding their medication use
• Ensuring that medications are stored properly to prevent damage or contamination
• Developing and maintaining relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other health care professionals within the community

Requirements: 

• Valid Clean and Clear State License
• Must be able to pass a background check 
• Have inpatient hospital experience
