Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 13 weeks + (Opportunity for Direct Hire)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy (PIC) to lead our high-volume mail-order facility in Indianapolis. This role is crucial as we transition from processing 50-100 prescriptions per day to a projected 500+ daily. You will initially oversee all pharmacy operations, managing pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and ancillary staff, while developing departmental leaders as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the mail-order pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Oversee budget and P&L responsibilities.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows to handle increased volume.
• Collaborate with staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

• Education: PharmD degree.
• Experience: 8-10 years of pharmacy experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Specialized Experience: Proven leadership in a moderate-to-high volume mail order or specialty pharmacy setting is highly preferred.
• Licensure: Valid Indiana pharmacy license.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
