Pharmacist in Charge - Director of Pharmacy
Location: Monterey Park, CA

Facility: Acute Care Hospital
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Team Composition:

• 2 Registered Pharmacists (RPh)
• 3 Pharmacy Technicians

Position Overview:
This position is for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or Director of Pharmacy (DOP). The PIC/DOP will not be involved in staffing duties but will focus on managing and leading the pharmacy department. This includes:

• Leading and managing the pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure a competent and motivated team.
• Developing and managing the department budget, monitoring financial performance, and implementing cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a PIC or DOP
• 2+ years of recent inpatient experience
