Dual Licensed Staff Pharmacist - California / Tennessee

RPh on the Go is actively searching for a Dual Licensed Staff Pharmacist willing to work in Carlsbad, CA. The ideal candidate will hold active pharmacy licenses in both California and Tennessee and be open to assuming a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) role as needed. Work schedules and shift availability will be discussed during the interview, and candidates with a flexible approach to scheduling are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Prescription Review: Thoroughly review prescriptions for authenticity and completeness to ensure compliance with pharmacy state and federal laws, as well as payer requirements.
o Follow established Compliance Guidelines as directed by the Chief-of-Pharmacy.
o Keep up-to-date with Pharmacy Staff Meeting Minutes and company emails for updates.
o Complete ongoing training and policy & procedure (P&P) reviews as required.
Order Verification and Shipment: Accurately review and verify all outgoing shipments of legend medications, devices, syringes, and pen needles to fulfill customer requests promptly.
Supervision of Pharmacy Operations:
o Oversee the delivery, storage, safekeeping, dispensing, and return of legend products, pen needles, and syringes.
o Supervise activities of Pharmacy Technicians and ancillary staff, ensuring professionalism and adherence to job descriptions and licensing requirements.
Documentation: Sign the daily pharmacy prescription log to ensure compliance and recordkeeping accuracy.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in pharmacy; retail pharmacy or an accredited place of employment preferred.
• Bachelor s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active and clear pharmacy licenses in both California and Tennessee.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) is a plus.

Pay Rate : 60+ Based on Experience
