Evening Pharmacist - Full Time (Hamilton OH)

RPh on the Go has partnered with a retail pharmacy in Cincinnati, OH, to hire a Staff Pharmacist for a full-time evening shift position (12:00 PM 8:00 PM). This role requires an active Ohio pharmacist license and retail or compounding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks to ensure accurate data entry, workflow efficiency, and security of the pharmacy area.
• Ensure adherence to medication delivery schedules.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians in ordering and prepacking medications.
• Screen all new medication orders for appropriate dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.
• Assist in the ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain a perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs to ensure compliance and accountability.

Requirements:

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist License
• Retail or compounding pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Experience handling controlled substances and maintaining proper documentation
