Evening Shift Compounding Pharmacy Technician PA

Join a growing specialty compounding pharmacy where precision, compliance, and quality come together to create patient-specific medications. This 13-week contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with both non-sterile and sterile compounding in a structured, production-focused environment.

You ll be trained across both production and fulfillment functions, giving you the tools to thrive in a high-performance pharmacy setting. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to consistent attendance reliability is critical for this client.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 3:00pm 11:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow USP <795>, <797>, and <800> compounding guidelines

  • Accurately read prescriptions and input data into the pharmacy system

  • Compound medications using precise measurements and documented processes

  • Prepare and manage batch formula logs and maintain full documentation

  • Label, package, and verify compounded medications for accuracy and compliance

  • Maintain and organize inventory, PPE, and equipment

  • Ensure timely fulfillment and readiness of compounded prescriptions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience

  • Prior experience with sterile and/or non-sterile compounding is required

  • Active pharmacy technician license is required (PA preferred)

  • PTCB certification is required

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Willingness to learn and grow within a specialized compounding environment
