RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dedicated Evening Shift Pharmacist to join a reputable pharmacy in Fairfield, Ohio. This is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a great pathway to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Job Details:

• Location: Fairfield, OH
• Schedule: Monday - Friday: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
• Duration: 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure proper data entry, workflow, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules. Oversee ordering and prepacking by the pharmacy technicians.
• Oversee ordering and prepacking by the pharmacy technicians.
• Screen all new medication orders for appropriate dose, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications prior to dispensing the medication.
• Assist in the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances; assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.

Requirements:

• OH Pharmacist license
• Background in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is a plus
